Kwara Govt Releases N30m for Upgrading Youth Farm

Kwara State government announced that it has released N30 million for the upgrading of its Youth Integrated Farm at Malete in Moro Local Government Area of the state.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed on Agriculture matters, Alhaji Mahmud Ajeigbe, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) after inspecting the farm.

Ajeigbe said that 11 tractors and bulldozers had been overhauled from the amount and that some shades had been constructed to keep them in good working condition.

The aide, however, expressed concern over the handling of the equipment by the operators and urged them to change their attitude to the handling of the equipment.

Ajeigbe said the farm was producing soya beans, cassava and maize, adding that 96 trainees from the 16 local government areas of the state had graduated from the farm.

What sort of govt is this, a govt dt decide to upgrade a training centre whose graduant are parading the street as nuisance simply because the promise of empowerment made to them to practise wat they learnt is not forthcoming. What the govt only want is to make them and the all the set till 2015 roam about till the election period, such that they(graduants) will turn to political thugs after they have been promise to work for them and wait to be settled after election. Kwara state govt, please stop this nonsense play with people’s life
