PLAYERS of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, have said they will leave no stone unturned when they face Enyimba International FC of Aba in Ilorin on Sunday for match day 14 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) encounter.
Some of the players who spoke on Friday in Ilorin include Chukwuebuka Anaekwe, whose plan for the game is for his mates to show the spirit of the real ABS FC players, which is fight to finish.
“We are disappointed about the result in Shagamu against Remo Stars on Sunday but we want to make amend against Enyimba.
“In ABS, we are groomed to grind out results no matter how big the opponent is.
“No doubt Enyimba is a big side but none of us will remember that on Sunday” Anaekwe said.
To Ibrahim Ahmed, the match day 14 encounter with Enyimba is a must win and the players will approach it just like that.
“We are aware of the threat they pose to us but I believe we are up to the task and we will beat them by God grace.
“I think every day how to help this great team achieve successes because we operate like one family.
“The boss (Henry Makinwa), has brought a lot believe into us, he made us believe we can win anywhere if we show better character and mentality” Ahmed said.
It would be recalled that the captain of the team, Abdullahi Boje, had earlier in the week urged his mates to show convincing character enough to beat the seven times champion on Sunday.
